Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Friuli Aquileia DOC 2022 - Ca’ Bolani

Intense and deep ruby red with violet reflections, it features notes reminiscent of sour cherry jam and plums preserved in spirit are harmonized with spices and light herbal and resinous notes. On the palate it is dense and fruity with soft tannins, and has a long and lingering finish. The finish features black pepper notes.

Perfect with succulent game first courses like "pappardelle" or "gnocchi" with venison meat sauce, excellent with stewed wild boar and game in general

From the mineral-rich clays it draws strength and structure, becoming a surprising wine, which manages to combine the rustic and rebellious nature of the best Refosco grapes with the elegance and softness conveyed by a skillful passage in oak barrels.
